This event is mandatory for all Jamboree Scouts and Leaders!
(Here’s our chance to recruit and fill those last few spots in our 2010 Contingent)
WHAT: Portland Rose Parade
WHEN: June 12th, 2010 (Saturday)
WHERE: Rose Quarter/Coliseum
South Lot Parking Garage
(Same place as last year)
TIME: 9:30 am
(Be prompt with your whole troop ready to go)
All Scoutmasters will be responsible for all logistics
of getting their own troop to the staging area on time.
You are also responsible for getting them back to their parents at the end.
(This will be good practice for when you will be touring.)
MAX will be free for parade participants in their field uniform!
Field Uniform
Scout Shirt, Pants or Shorts, Belt, Socks
(Let’s look sharp for the spectators)
NO sleeves showing under short sleeved Scout shirts
NO Jamboree Jackets
NO Jamboree Troop Hats
BRING
Your Troop and American Flag on a pole
A CLEAR (No color) Emergency Rain Poncho - if rain is forecasted
Good Walking shoes (No brand new shoes that haven’t been broken in)
